Too busy we miss the mark
looking beyond the way
trivia obfuscates the obvious
complexity of fascination the simple
humbleness humbled in obscurity
we grasp to understand the can’t
the meaning, apprehend some mystery
yet fail to pause, enjoying wonders
birds singing on green mountains
before the dawn of day, then
new sun lifting, white mist away.
