My youth, stars and water
dissolved in memory now
where an albatross floats free
to rise and fall on blue waves
rolling in loss, of toils on troubles
folded, its long wings to rest
from marine currents, far flung air voyage of ages, as seas swell respire
on a lonely shore, sand, polished
stone, white and green, as evening
darkens the stage, a kind restless mind.
