Breaking of the luminous sheen
white wave sound disturbs
the moonless shore, emissary
from archaic night reports
tears of years, drawing out
exhausted, wet, echoes fold
collapse and seethe, repeat
again, darkness breathes
ceaseless, tone of remembrance
learned, sitting there alone
on damp sand swept
waiting her return, he wept.
