I live as that hive of wasps hanging from my tree
sentries circling their hatchery, calculations chart each day.
The queen in my heart, libido of love motivating me
from a durable, delicate gray pagoda of tissue, bulb built
multilayered, as pollinating populations multiply
buzzing, clustering the flowers of palms, dominating blooms,
Hymenopterans in colmena, society sharing my moments
secured tight but light, wind seldom threatening this airy crepe
oblong balloon, as it becomes the allegory, text of my memoir
home of memories tucked, collated in a catacomb of cells
suspended in their element of air, fructiferous globe
swarming, wisps of vision, vividly appearing in my head.
