Days impend the coming of
the future seems heavy and
complicated as preparing for
the bar, so many variables
aligned to assure that penance
is secure the weight tilting us
favorably, shaped as the cradle
that we are in, molded by
the curve of space, our own
frailty, stubborn clinging to
ignorance filling the vacuum
hoping to learn, experience
aiding others to cope, life’s
unknown approaches daily
giving every one that long
moment to reflect as it happens
before our eyes later arriving
to our brain before being
collated then interpreted
preserving a portion, our destiny.
