I floated my house across the sea
true to the duty of family tradition
not wholly sinking, the wood buoyant
taking me to new horizons, empty
rooms, glass taken from windows
half submerged, thankful for calm
no furnishings, only mementos saved
in a box, old photos, certificates of
some worldly honor,leaf worn books
a guitar to weave sounds into wind
my diaries shuttling days as threads
yarn moving through the shed into
a loom´s web,the tapestry of my life
almost ready for the wall, new panes
intalled,letting light in,solid ground
again,setting new foundation stone
thinking that: I had to come here
taking the last of may savings to pay
a subliminal dream.hope for a home
