Weathered wall stands the ages
whether sun bakes, sleet pelts
rain drizzles, hurricanes lash
rampart defense protects rout
my inner enclosure, seed bed
of fleeting dreams, hours seem
taken to the edge, squandered
in pursuit, returning resolute
words re-gathered, set down
their lines defining dimension
plumbing the essence of depth
without restraints, deviations
ever new, borderless within
the torments range withheld out.
