Sitting in a familiar vacancy
everything set on pause
a lizard hasnít moved its head
but is not dead, the planet
revolves with incredible velocity
one thousand miles each hour
but not a leaf falls nor flutters
in this vacant space, time sealed
nor comes to mind, words to utter.
