How changes now, its action acts
to retract or advance before
the moment’s light, descending shade
casts its shadow, our mood darkens
hesitancy postpones decision held
in a lull of the eye as time revolves
centrifugal rides dash, go around here
colors slide and modify each pause
before ink is dry, sounds and voices
echo, the momentary instants, pixilated
accumulate to form the present
in a blink of a shutter’s flash.
