SAILORS CREED

Survive this endless voyage
seemingly perpetual steaming
over oceans to overcome
each unhappiness, to gaze
into darkness and still see
integrate with contrariness
waves of renewal, tempests
of terror, revolving twists
tumult of scattered bones
those, lost at sea, echoing
seaman ancestors, aviators
shot from fiery sky, absorbed
by fathoms, benthic burial
tombs of eerie shadows stand
disenchanted travelers all
sense of boundary, division
of self dissolved, objects seen
vision of its Seer, eliminating
sailorís fear, in valorís creed.
