O. X

I feel the weight of gravity tug
as I sense a bend, curve in my
destiny, a bifurcation into another
unstable asymmetry, as I lean
against parameters, finding
exotic limit cycles tied to knots
chaos and noisy periodicity, as I
near deep structural modification
changing course, new phase space
again, hope to overcome fear, yet
afraid that hope will not endure
the shattering of old ontology:
tension between imagination
and this daily walk in a paradise
surrounded by blooming coffee
fields, flowering trees, palms
and orchids hanging in jasmine
scented nights, as the tenor of
obedience is tested in reason
against a force of attraction
drawing me to my center.
