Inside Park peace defends
against outside traffic, conflict
confusion, palms, hardwoods
spread, iguanas and sloths secure
chattering parrots swirl green
scream through leafy tops
time to blend with bark
as age excludes wise observations
trouble the young as calamity
in the streets intensifies
refuge to survive, inside the Park.
