The question at issue is
whether the cockroach
seen, glossy amber turd
antennae, transparent
wings, is merely image
of many unseen, hidden
variables in our kitchen
dispersed free, squeezed
in corners, localities
concealed, like cracks
depositing their young
in dark posterity grooves
scabby tubes, away
from eyes, a world its own
all revealed, in one known.
