Geography in my mind
follows the same streets
corners that seem first
to double back zigzag
disconcerting at first
along shops, detailing
sentient orientation
to a Park, iguanas sun
parrots chatter, temple
bell tolls hours, signals
halves, movement: cars
faces and bodies guided
by some personal intent
imprinted on tomorrow
under a cumulous dome
blue patches rumbling
rain rising from the east.
