Come and find me
mind musing near
the sea or dozing
at lakeside quay
melancholic Aires
leave the temple
trees weep with
afternoon’s rain
where they preach
an end of man’s life
silver hearse waits
remains, solitary
toll, steel clang
echoes the drama
unique, all alone
weight of humid fall
evening deepens.
