My motion moored
aged ship, no longer
upon the ocean
unwashed, slippery
planks no captain
can stand, rigging
dangles and droops
yards of canvass sail
un-mended, unlashed
against the wind
nor full billowing
a prow not lunging
into the waves, tied
here, beside the quay.
